Dina Wakley 5th Post & Giveaway

Hi all, hope your well.  Last two posts being written up, today and tomorrow and then I shall post the winner on Monday.  Today is a journal page and is a full tutorial and of course using Dina Wakley products.  If you can remember the last post here after the journal page I had a lovely sheet left over of wipe off paint (wish I could think of a better name lol).  I decided to add to the sheet and then cut it up and add on the burlap page next to the original journal page. Don't forget if you comment on any of the 6 posts showcasing Dina's products then you will have a chance of winning in the giveaway (picture at the bottom).  Also at the bottom of the post is another Poppi the poodle picture :-).  There is a full product list at the end of the post, I have linked the products to That's Crafty which is a UK shop that I get all my Dina products from :-). All products are Dina's unless stated.

The journal page (ok that's obvious lol)

Some close up pics.

And now for the step by step .............................................

I added black gesso with a palatte knife.

I started playing around with arrangements. I didn't use the Circle Pattern stamps in the end.

I used white paint with the stamp from Textures.

Here is the paper I am about to add to.

First I used Dina's scribble sticks.

Next I added water with my finger.

I decided to calm it down slightly so I sprayed water all over and used tissue
to take colour away.

I did this twice to get to the point I liked.

Next I added Dina's Washi Tape.

Then some paint with my fingers using blackberry, turquoise, lime, tangerine,
magenta, gilt.

Then I added splatters of white paint.
Next I used my circle thingy (I can't think of the name eeeeek!)
to make circles.

I cut them out and played with what I wanted where.  Now
the rest I forgot to photo, I got lost in my work lol.
I got my sewing machine out and added black and white
sewing around the circles.  I used a scrap of burlup on the tag
and some tissue and cheese cloth that had dylusions spray on it from
my stash ages ago.  Next I stick the circles down and then splattered
watered down white and gilt paint.  Then I added the tag with the date
and a word sticker from Tim Holtz big chat.

Here is the giveaway prize.

Here is Poppi the Puppy just come back from the groomers :-).

Right, I shall be back tomorrow with my last giveaway post.  Thank you for taking the time to visit.

Happy Art :-)
Hugs Kezzy xxxxx

Ooh, I love this one - like a fabulous rainbow solar system. The colourful planets look just fabulous, and I love the hessian texture coming through the night sky. The stitching detail just takes it all to another level of cool!

Oh Wow. This is uber cool! Absolutely every part. My mission is to learn how to thread my sewing machine, lol. I so admire stitching on mixed media! Brilliant job! Tyfs😊
